Admissions
Nursery Admissions:
We offer a total of 70 nursery places daily comprising of part-time and full time spaces. For more information please click on the link for The School Day on the left of this page.
Waiting lists
We operate a waiting list when the nursery is full. Normal admissions criteria apply with 1st preference given to ‘Looked After Children’ who are in the care of a Local Authority, next are children with a Statement of Need, then siblings and then proximity to the school.
If you would like to come and look round our nursery please phone the office and make an appointment.

Reception Admissions:
Open Mornings:
Both campuses will hold Open Mornings in the Autumn term. Please check the calendar on this website for dates.
We are a 5 form entry Primary School which means we have three classes in each Year from Reception to Year 6. In Reception, each class will have a maximum of 30 children. The 5 forms are split across 2 campuses and you will be allocated a place at the campus which is nearest to your home unless you have siblings at the Plum Lane Campus.
All admissions to our Reception are administered and allocated by the Royal Borough of Greenwich. You will need to complete the Common Application Form online at www.eadmissions.org.uk - You can complete a paper copy of the form but we’d encourage you to do the online version.
If your child is already in our nursery you will still need to make an application for a place in our Reception through the central admissions process as described above.
In-Year Admissions:
If you move into the area during any academic year or you already live in the area and decide you’d like your child to attend Plumcroft Primary School then you’ll need to contact the Admissions department of the Royal Borough of Greenwich and request an ‘In-Year Application Form’. This process is centrally administered.
Please go the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s website at http://www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk then search for ‘in-year school admissions’ for more information and downloadable copies of the forms.
Secondary Transfer:
When your child is in Year 5 (or before if you wish), you will need to start thinking about which Secondary School you want them to attend when they leave us at the end of Year 6. There will be Open Days you can attend and you can obtain details of all Secondary Schools from the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s website at http://www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk then search for ‘school admissions’.
At the beginning of Year 6 you will need to complete the online Common Application Form, identifying your 6 choices of secondary school in order of preference. You can complete a paper version but we’d encourage you to do it online.
Please feel free to contact the school to arrange an informal visit at any time. I’m always happy to have an informal chat about what our school can offer
