Vincent Road Campus

I am Alicia Rose Whytock and I am proud to be the Head of School of such a wonderful community at Vincent road. Having started at Vincent road with the first cohort of reception pupils, I am extremely proud of the school community and everything the pupils achieve on a daily basis.

Every child is entitled to an exceptional education to ensure they achieve their full potential. I will ensure that every child accesses a high quality, broad and balanced curriculum allowing them to develop into independent and inspired learners. I will create community partnerships which strengthen the school and ensure that, as a community, we achieve excellent results. Working as part of this community is extremely important to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.

Partnerships with parents/carers who can support their children at home by encouraging learning are integral to ensure the pupil’s holistic development. It is extremely important that your child attends school every day and on time as every minute counts in ensuring that your child achieves the best they possibly can in their learning.

We are an inclusive school and we believe that every child should be able to be part of school life in every way. Our pupils benefit from a nurturing approach where we place an emphasis on providing pupils with opportunities to develop their social skills and emotional regulation.

I pride myself on ensuring that pupils both think and feel well. I will ensure that the safety and well-being of the pupils at the Vincent road campus is at the heart of everything we do to ensure that all pupils develop into self-aware and determined learners.

I am extremely proud of what the school community has achieved so far and I look forward to working with the pupils, parents/carers and staff at the Vincent road campus to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.
